Sky.tech 6th National Innovative Aerospace Project Starts Call for Proposals

A call for proposals started for Sky.tech, the 6th National innovative aerospace project, organized by TsAGI (a part of NRC “Zhukovsky Institute”) and Russian Helicopters holding (a part of “Rostec” company). The results will be summed up on July 22 within the business program of MAKS-2021 International Aviation and Space Salon.
The jury will choose the best projects based on advanced research results and on technologies marketable in aerospace industry. The prize fund of the call will be ₽950 thousand: ₽500 thousand will go to the first-place winner, ₽300 thousand will receive the second-place winner, and ₽150 thousand will be given to the third-place winner.
The competition embraces several topics, such as: aircraft, including the systems and elements; technologies and materials for aerospace industry; and digital technologies for development, tests, production and service. Authoring teams from universities, research organizations and enterprises are welcomed to participate in the call.
The call for proposals will last through June 25, 2021.

Within organization of this competition, TsAGI is partnered by Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, by Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, by NRC “Zhukovsky Institute”, by Government of Moscow Region, by Rusnano Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs; and by such aerospace organizations as UAC, Nauka, Kronstadt, etc.
The Sky.tech call for innovative aerospace projects has been organized since 2016. Over 50 enterprises, universities and research organizations have participated in it so far, representing more than 25 Russian regions. 223 projects were submitted to the jury from 2016 to 2020.
