TsAGI scientists receive an honorary award at the Union of Aviation Industrialists

Scientists of the the Zhukovsky Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI, a member of the National Research Center “Zhukovsky Institute”) received honorary certificates at the Union of Aviation Industrialists for the great personal contribution to the development of the aviation industry of the Russian Federation.
Head of Static and Thermal Strength Division of TsAGI, Ph.D in Engineering Science, Alexander Dzyuba and Head of the Research Laboratory of the Structural Testing and Monitoring Promising Methods, Ph.D in Engineering Science Svetlana Smotrova, as well as a specialist in the conceptual aircraft design, Head of sector of the Department of Systems Research and Aerospace Development Programs, Ph.D in Engineering Science Andrey Kazhan, received the award.
“The awarding of TsAGI’s leading scientists at such a fundamental and important institutional body as the Union of Aviation Industrialists contributes to the formation of a positive image of our institute as a world-renowned aviation science center,” said Alexander Medvedsky, TsAGI’s First Deputy Director General.
