TsAGI participates in MAI Doors Open Day
8 February 2019
The best way to bring talented and highly-qualified personnel to your organization is to train them yourself! The employer-sponsored education is aimed at it. In the beginning of February, a delegation of the Zhukovsky Central AeroHydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI, a member of the National Research Center “Zhukovsky Institute”) participated in the Doors Open Day of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI). The event was devoted to the students’ professional orientation.
“Every year the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation sets for TsAGI a quota for the employer-sponsored education,” said TsAGI Deputy Director General HR and Social Policy Vladislav Maksimov. “Traditionally the applications are received from February, 1 till June, 1. The applicant should have passing scores for going to college, and be ready for the employment in TsAGI. Our Institute pays students scholarship in the amount of 5 thousand rubles (in addition to the University scholarships), ‘B’ students — 3 thousand rubles.”
TsAGI Human Resources and the Council of young scientists and specialists organized the exposition in the framework of the Doors Open Day. They told prospective students and their parents about the scope of the target recruitment and social programs of the Institute. Andrey Nikitin, the MAI four-year contract student shared his experience with the students. He has been working in TsAGI since last year as a computer operator. “I have been fond of maths since childhood and dreamed of working at TsAGI because here you can be engaged in scientific creativity, refine yourself,” said Andrey. “That’s why immediately after leaving school I applied in MAI for TsAGI’s employer-sponsored education and I was accepted. Now I simultaneously study and work at the company of my dream. I have a good salary for the budding specialist; there are career opportunities. In the future I am going to stay at TsAGI as an engineer.”
More than 50 leading Russian organizations participated in the exhibition. They were members of Rostec and Roscosmos, United Aircraft Corporation, United Industrial Corporation, Russian Helicopters and others. More than a thousand school children could receive information about the employer-sponsored education.
