Forth Open Russian Conference on Aeroacoustics

The Forth Aeroacoustics conference will be hold from 28 September to 2 October 2015 in the “Zvenigorodsky” Hotel (~ 40 kilometers from Moscow). This traditional Conference was started by TsAGI in 1962. This is the forth time when the Conference has an open status which allows joining the participants from abroad. The Conference consolidates the researches, engineers and scientists working in the fields of aeroacoustics and aviation ecology and gives a good opportunity to discuss the obtained results, trends and perspectives.

During this conference problems of noise diminution for planes and helicopters will be discussed to ensure fulfillment of ICAO and EC noise regulations. Discussions will be conducted in the following directions:

  • Planes and helicopters far field noise and aircraft engine acoustics;
  • Planes and helicopters cabin noise;
  • Noise sources in aviation;
  • Innovative methods in aeroacoustics;
  • Computational aeroacoustics;
  • Aviation ecology.

The discussion will touch on the questions of the noise standard stringency accepted by CAEP ICAO in February, 2013, and the corresponding challenges for the aviation industry.

Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute named by prof. N.E. Zhukovsky with financial support of Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Project X-Noise EV of 7-th EU Framework Program.
